I said that your play needed honing. Fleur said the reason I think your play needs honing is because my head is wrong and I can’t understand anything that isn’t completely straightforward. (Fleur didn’t actually say that but that is what I conclude from what she said and my own observations.) If it doesn’t need honing then I think it is brilliant.

Are you sure that’s what she said? Fran certainly suggested rewrites. I think it needs honing!

Then again Fran also said it needed a lot of honing.

The audience laughed a lot, which was the point.

Everyone seemed to enjoy it, even more the point.

Including my family, who are very hard to please, so that is also to the point.

And several people said, please develop this into a full length play: I will definitely pay to come and see it… which is presumably the most point of all.

So if anyone is still free next Friday evening and can travel to SE London…
